4. Chemical reaction monitoring: The conductance of a solution can be used to monitor the progress of a chemical reaction. A chemical reaction will often cause the conductance of a solution to change.
5. Conductivity sensors: Conductance measurements can be used in conductivity sensors to detect the presence of certain substances. Conductivity sensors are used in a variety of applications, such as water quality monitoring and industrial process control.
