Hexaaquamanganese(II) [Mn(H2O)6]2+ is pale pink because of weak d-d transitions. Manganese(II) has a d5 electronic configuration. In an octahedral complex, the five d-orbitals split into two sets, eg and t2g. The energy difference between these sets is relatively small, leading to weak absorption in the visible region, which results in the pale pink color.
