Joule Thamson effect

Accepted Answer
Joule–Thomson effect is the change in temperature of a gas or liquid under Joule–Thomson expansion, which is an adiabatic process in which there is no transfer of heat into or out of the system. In a Joule–Thomson expansion, the fluid flows out of a container through a very small opening so that there is no change in the potential or kinetic energy of the fluid.
